Asheville Readiness Center and Field Maintenance Shop

ESG designed the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection for both of these facilities. These projects were for the North Carolina Army National Guard, and constructed in Asheville, NC. The Readiness Center was 26,000 square ft. and included assembly hall, kitchen/dining facilities, locker rooms, classrooms, and offices. It was completed in 2008, and the total construction cost was $4.8M. The Field Maintenance Shop design followed. The FMS included 2 drive-thru maintenance bays, offices, battery room, conference room, classroom, and all support spaces. The FMS was completed in 2009 with a total construction cost of $3.1M.
