ESG was selected to design the mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the TDOT Region 1 Headquarters located in Knoxville, TN. This project involved numerous buildings spread over the 80 acre site. These buildings included the Fred B. Corum Regional Administration Building, Material Testing Lab, Highway Marking Building, Field Offices, Floating Maintenance Building, Transportation Management Building, Auto Fuel/Lube Center, Maintenance Garage, and Warehouse. Total construction cost was $20M.
