East Knox County Solar Power Plant

Knoxville, Tennessee

ESG designed this one megawatt solar system, and it is currently the largest in the 7 state Tennessee Valley Authority region. This system is comprised of (4) 260k W inverters, ( 4,608 ) 224 watt solar modules, and 480V to 13.2k V transformer. The solar modules cover over 5 acres of area. This system will generate 1,198,920 kWh annually of clean energy for the Knoxville Utility Board ( KUB ) grid.
