Hardin Valley Academy

Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, Hardin Valley Academy was the first new High School constructed in Knox County in nearly 30 years. ESG was the engineer of choice for this facility and designed the Mechanical and Plumbing systems. This facility won the 2009 Tennessee School Board Association Award for Best New Construction High School category. The mechanical system for this facility was a combination geothermal system and air cooled roof top heat pumps. This 247,000 sq. ft. facility includes a 750 seat auditorium and 2200 seat gymnasium. Total cost was $50M which includes all athletic fields, concession stands, and fieldhouse.
