Blount Memorial Cancer Center

ESG was selected to design the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for this state of the art cancer diagnostic and treatment center located in Maryville, TN. This project was an 80,000 square ft, 4 story facility constructed on the Blount Memorial Hospital main campus. This facility includes such services as PET/CT scanning, MRI scanning, linear accelerator, and cryosurgery. Construction of this new facility required the expansion of the existing Power House. This included the addition of a new 1000 KW emergency generator, 1000 ton chiller, cooling tower, all associated pumps, 13 KV medium voltage switchgear, and fire pump.
